eVent “Live Outdoors” Resizes and Media Schedule

When you’re building ads in four languages, the possibility of an error is high. Multiply that by four executions and the “oh crap” ratio goes up exponentially. TDA asked Hero to help them beat the odds by bringing us in to handle the final ad production and manage the media schedule. We began by building bulletproof final art using Photoshop and Illustrator smart-objects. These included the language translations. The international publication list required accommodations in pre-press to account for the various print standards. After building the ad templates, everything was ready to go, locked down and accurate. Next, we turned our attention to getting the ads to the pubs. Working closely with the TDA account exec, we developed a proofing process that met their client’s needs. Marked up PDFs provided an accurate record of necessary changes. Meta tagging and strict version control made sure no errors could be introduced. The pubs received an accurate, error-free ad every time. Once the campaign was complete, Hero delivered all the final files back to TDA. This provided them with an accurate archive of the project and the highest quality source files for ongoing work.
