Super Ad Sunday is an event created by the New Denver Ad Club (NDAC), where attendees watch the Super Bowl and rate the advertising. As an NDAC sponsor, Hero took the reigns of the event in ’08 and put together a crack creative team to create a promotional campaign. Working with the tech team from Crispin, Porter + Borgusky, we also created a live text voting system, just like American Idol. The concept: if refs can call fouls on football plays, then why not call fouls on crappy Super Bowl advertising?
